The Loft is nestled amid rolling fields, mature trees & spring fed ponds in Gambier, Ohio.  The Loft is just 3 miles from the heart of Gambier and the prestigious Kenyon College, 5 miles from Mount Vernon, Ohio and Mount Vernon Nazarene University, 26 miles from Denison University in Granville, Ohio and 52 miles to the John Glenn Airport and Columbus, Ohio.

Designed and built by Patricia and Alan Wolf (with their daughter Lauren Pearson), this historic timber frame barn was transformed into modern guest accommodations in 2009. The sophisticated, fully furnished 1200 square feet of living space features idyllic panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, soaring ceilings, exposed post and beam construction, hardwood and tile floors, television, kitchenette table with 4 chairs, comfortable sofa, cozy chairs and fully equipped kitchen with range, microwave, full-size refrigerator, and Amish-made custom cabinetry. The bedroom features an inviting king-size bed with luxurious linens. Two twin beds are available for additional guest comfort.  Enjoy serene views of the spring-fed pond and pastures beyond through the kitchen window.  All water comes from the spring,  which is east of the main farmhouse, and has a separate water heater. The bath features abundant towels, tile floors, pedestal sink, tub/shower, washer and dryer.
